The Influence Of Communication Media On The Level Of Implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) By Floriculture Farmers In Langkapura District, Bandar Lampung City
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh media komunikasi terhadap tingkat penerapan good agriculture practices (GAP) oleh petani florikultura. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Langkapura Kota Bandar Lampung pada bulan Juni-Juli 2023. Responden penelitian diambil melalui teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu snowball sampling dengan total responden akhir sebanyak 70 petani florikultura. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei melalui pendekatan deksriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS Versi 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media komunikasi dilihat dari dua kategori yaitu karakteristik media komunikasi dan pemanfaatan media komunikasi memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penerapan GAP oleh petani florikultura di kecamatan langkapura. Tingkat penerapan GAP pada aspek penyiapan media tanam, penggunaan bibit, pemupukan, perlindungan tanaman, penyiraman, panen dan pasca panen berada pada kategori sudah menerapkan sedangkan aspek penanaman berada pada kategori cukup menerapkan.
